Christmas was wonderful .....

Over the weekend, Eric and I went to Ohiopyle. We went camping, white water rafting, hiking, checked out falling waters, made s'mores and lots more. It was such a good time. By the way, he really liked the Merrells!

He said the sweetest things to me in an email, and about me in his blog. I am actually at a loss for words right now, b/c my mind is so overwhelmed with happy thoughts ... way more so than normal!

So here are some of my favorite things... I LOVE ketchup and he bought some when he went grocery shopping (that says and means a lot to me!), he thinks I am great, he is patient with me, he lets me help him, he helps me, he makes me laugh ... a lot! He takes me to work with him and likes showing me what he does and is interested in (maybe I can learn to play the guitar!) He likes my pillow (and mom, he didn't say anything about the way it smells! (for everyone else ... it smells like home!:), he thinks I am the most prepared camper ever!! There are just so many things, too many right now to list. Maybe once I get my thoughts in order I can make more sense of it.

He invited me to go to a wedding with him in his hometown! Check out the photos...

Lost in wonderful thoughts ;)

Christmas in September?!

It's like Christmas for me today! :) I am so excited to go camping and spend time with the boy! I am such a nerd, a comment most would agree with... or like Aimee says "Jessica you are not a nerd, it's your child-like wonder"!

Just came out of a meeting and got some samples, perfect for camping too... a small first aid kit! Yesss, as you can tell it doesn't take much to amuse me! Cross your fingers it doesn't get too hot out today (my beer and other supplies are in my car!)

I have been completely enjoying the IPOD, it's indescribeable what music does for the mood. Since my CD player decided to quit working the 9 hour drive to NY seems extra long, and finding cassette tapes isn't the easiest thing anymore!

I feel so productive today, although (not to wish the time away again) but I wish it was 3 pm so I could hit the road! Yesterday I got a fishing pole, that's also something I haven't done in a good long while!

I am so excited I am at a loss for words!! All for the better at this particular moment though!

Thanks for reading, sending lots of laughs and smiles your way! :)

Wishful thinking?!

Last work day for the week.......

Actually I guess I am getting ahead of myself, b/c I do have to work tomorrow! The boy and I are going camping tomorrow and Friday. I am really excited, I got a new tent, and a new Life is good shirt to wear, and I got him a pair of Merrells.... cross your fingers that he likes them!

Last night I worked late... went home and tried to organize myself, it worked well though! Have to go have a meeting... WOOHOOOO!

Part 2

I wonder how much of our time we spend waiting for people... half of my job is waiting for people (this also includes senseless stuff) Then there are doctors, you spend hours in the waiting room and are actually with them for about what... 10 minutes? Of course being impatient doesn't help this whole having to wait situation, but I am remembering living in Long Island.... I think I spent altogether a year sitting in traffic!!!! I didn't like it though so I made a change, that's the way to go!

I hate to wish the time away, but I don't think tomorrow could possibly come any sooner!! I am sooooo excited. It's nice to actually make plans with someone who actually keeps them! ;)

Only in good spirits :)
